I received my Bachelors of Science in Land Resource Management and Environmental Protection from Mekelle University,
Ethiopia in 2006 and my Masters in Integrated Watershed Management and Hydrology from Cornell University, Ethiopia in 2009.
I spent a year working at Bahir Dar Urban agriculture office focused on rehabilitation and management of natural resources
of Lake Tana /Upper Blue Nile in 2007. This is my second semester in Cornell, Ithaca campus.
My Current Research Projects and Interests
I am interested in researching erosion (surface as well as subsurface) and its impact on water quality.
